The vibrant life of Maliki Sharma, just 18 years old, was tragically cut short on Monday evening in Feltham, west London. Known affectionately as Malikhai and Mags, he succumbed to multiple stab wounds after an attack on Victoria Road, leaving a community reeling in shock and grief.
Emergency services responded swiftly, with paramedics battling to save him at the scene near Feltham High Street before rushing him to hospital. Despite their desperate efforts, the young man’s injuries proved fatal, plunging those who knew him into profound sorrow.
A friend, recalling their time at college together, described Maliki as “just a lovely lad.” Teachers, deeply affected by the loss, were reportedly “crying for days,” a testament to the impact he had on those around him. He was remembered as a dedicated student, universally liked and cherished.
Those who knew his family spoke of a close-knit and loving unit. A family friend emphasized that Maliki was a “really nice boy,” unconnected to any gang activity, and expressed the devastating impact this loss would have on his mother, who adored him.
The scene of the tragedy quickly became a poignant memorial, overflowing with dozens of bouquets of flowers and colorful balloons. Tributes poured in, reflecting the joy and warmth Maliki brought to everyone he met.

Police have made three arrests in connection with the incident. Two 16-year-old boys are currently in custody, held on suspicion of murder and possession of an offensive weapon. A 19-year-old man has been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon following an alleged assault during the same incident.
